Solution Architect (m/f) APAC

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • The solution architect promotes the sales of DVS products in integrated workflows including third-party components in the broadcast and post production markets.
  • Is an interface between DVS and system integrators/value added resellers as well as other vendors for the definition, the promotion as well as the delivery of solutions.
  • The solution architect is part of the APAC team headquartered in Singapore that supports the entire region.
  • By more complex projects the solution architect documents the statement of work (product, performance and workflow requirements, specifications) as well as the corresponding acceptance procedures and ensures the transmission of this information to the rest of the organization (order processing, product management, support).
  • The solution architect supports the demand creation efforts including trade shows, exhibitions/conferences as well as the preparation of market collaterals, case studies and application notes.

Qualification and skills:

  • He/she has an in-depth experience in broadcast tapeless production and post production workflows both from technical and operational aspects including the different storage systems, video servers, NLEs as well as integration with control systems like automation, MAM/CMS & HSMs.
  • In a very fast moving industry the position requires flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and the corresponding strategies and corporate environment.
  • Should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to adapt to the processes of the organization.
  • Highly organized, self-directed business style, with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task - “Can do” attitude
  • The candidate has a technical education degree in media engineering and/or IT or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent English speaking as well as good multicultural communication skills. The knowledge of Asian languages is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a solution architect/presales engineer is desirable.

The position is based in Singapore and requires frequent travels to customers, partners and trade shows as well to the headquarters in Hannover Germany.
