Dr.-Ing. Peter Spoer

Peter Spoer was born in Seevetal (Germany) in 1957. He studied Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of Hanover. After graduating in 1981, he worked as a research associate at the university’s Institute for Theoretical Communications Engineering and Information Processing. In 1987, he finished his doctorate on the topic “Estimation of three-dimensional movement processes of rigid, level objects in digital TV image sequences assisted by movement parameters.”

In 1985, Peter Spoer became acting partner of DVS. Since 1997 he has held the position as President of DVS’s second headquarters DVS Digital Video, Inc. in Burbank, California. As of 2009, he is back in Hanover.
