Data rates and formats
No matter which format, the DVS-SAN can handle it: DPX, TIFF, Cineon®, QuickTime®, JP2, JPC, MXF, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, MPEG 4, R3D, WAV, etc. Of course, the same is true for the wide variety of data rates: Work in real-time with several uncompressed 4K streams in 10/12/16 bit parallel RGB 4:4:4. With the DVS-SAN you can do just that, in levels scalable from 300 MB/s to 5 GB/s. DVS-SAN's modular architecture enables additional storage clusters to be added easily for even higher data rates and a larger number of parallel video streams. DVS storage systems are built to sustain these data rates continuously, not just in short peaks.
