Broadcast Market Development Manager (m/f) EMEA

Key responsibilities in the role:

  • Grow the DVS product sales toward broadcasters and broadcast production companies in EMEA
  • As part of the DVS sales team delivers in cooperation with the regional sales organisation on the sales target in terms of revenue and margin
  • Define and pro actively manage the route to market including direct and indirect sales:
  • Country focus, partner strategy,
  • Develop a regionalised sales strategy targeting the main customers
  • Promote the DVS products among Value Added Resellers and local system integrators and cooperate with them especially for larger project.
  • Development of an appropriate marketing strategy for the segment to generate leads and feed the pipeline.
  • When required development of appropriate relationships with regional sales management of technology vendors complementing DVS products and solutions (ex MAM, automation,…)
  • Provide market strategy and product information to DVS.
  • Regularly update sales forecast and sales pipeline activity reports.
  • Close cooperation and coordination with the other functional and operational DVS entities and especially presales team/solution architect, sales back office, product management, and marketing.

Profile

  • He/she has an in-depth experience in broadcast tapeless production and post production. He/She has the will to address the market proactively and fight to secure growth.
  • Ability to operate at strategic and tactical level combining both creative and structured approach to the market.
  • Should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to adapt to the processes of the organization. 
  • The candidate has a sales or technical education degree in media engineering and/or IT or equivalent professional experience.  At least 5 years of experience is desirable. 
  • Native German or English speaker and good multicultural communication skills are required. The knowledge of other languages would be beneficial.

The position is based in Hannover or home office and requires frequent travels. In a very fast moving industry the position requires flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and the corresponding strategies and corporate environment.
